Shannon Coates is the founder of Patient Connect, a patient advocate, mother, caregiver, and rare-disease patient.
PERSONAL JOURNEY
Her 20-year journey in research began through lived experience-caring for her mother through breast cancer, navigating her own rare autoimmune conditions, and losing loved ones to lung cancer.
MY MISSION
These experiences shaped her mission to bridge the gap between patients and research through trust, advocacy, and meaningful connection.
BUILDING COMMUNITY
Through Patient Connect, she helps patients access clinical trials and research opportunities while helping sponsors and sites connect with the right communities.
